OUR SCHOOL
Bloom & Grow Outdoor Preschool is an outdoor focused early learning program designed to support the whole child. Children spend their days exploring, creating, problem solving, and learning through play in a calm, responsive environment guided by experienced educators.
We have a thoughtfully sized small group with 12 children and 2 teachers, allowing educators to truly know each child and support their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in meaningful ways.
OUR APPROACH
It is through play, that we believe children develop emotional awareness, practice social skills, build language, and learn how to navigate relationships. Social emotional learning is woven throughout the day through predictable routines, responsive guidance, support with conflict resolution, and intentional relationship based teaching. Children are supported in developing empathy, problem solving skills, emotional regulation, and confidence in themselves and others. We see these skills as the stepping stones that foster a love for learning and help to set children up for long term academic success.
A THOUGHTFULLY DESIGNED OUTDOOR PROGRAM
Our outdoor learning environment offers children the time and space to engage deeply in play and exploration using open ended materials that invite creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
A typical day includes extended outdoor play, child led exploration, small and large group experiences, shared meals, and opportunities for movement, reflection, and peer interaction.
